Job Description: 

Perform in-process, final inspection and test of completed components and subassemblies and to fabricate test fixtures and prototypes as necessary. Component level electronics experience required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

1.1 Perform receiving, in-process and final inspection on parts, sub-assemblies, and assemblies, and complete required documentation.

1.2 Perform incoming inspection on material and components.

1.3 Read and interpret electronic schematics, diagrams, and bills of material.

1.4 Perform visual, mechanical and electrical inspections on products.

1.5 Knowledge of component level electronics

1.6 Experience using Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Power Supplies, Test Fixtures and Signal Generators.

1.7 Inspect for manufacturing or non-manufacturing defects with regard to material returned from the field.

1.8 Trouble shoot nonconforming products to component level.

1.9 Complete check lists, tags and data sheets as necessary to accurately maintain records of tests performed.

1.10 Maintain inspection history card and non-conformance report files.

1.11 The ability to solder to acceptable workmanship standards.

1.12 The ability to wire and generate prototype hardware.

1.13 Perform periodic calibration of test equipment and maintain detailed records of calibration.

 

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skillset, and/or ability required.

2.1 Education and/or experience:

One year certificate from college or technical school; or a minimum of five years related experience and/or training, in a manufacturing environment.

Employee Type:  Hourly
Salary Minimum:  $45,000
Salary Maximum:  $60,000
