Job Description: 

Job purpose:

The main purpose of this role is to carry out a repair service function operating within the production department in compliance with ISO9001 accreditation. Deliver a cost-effective repair service in line with customer service and quality expectations. Provide timely support to our internal and external customers.  

 

Key responsibilities and accountabilities: 

  • Day to day repair function consisting of assessment, service/repair, fault finding and calibration.
  • Create the quality feedback loop between the service centre and the quality department.
  • To report non-conforming material and submit improvement change requests.
  • Provide timely after-sales support to all internal and external customers in line with the agreed expectations of the business.
  • Ensure all third-party approvals are compliant for the department.
  • Maintain the working standards in line with operational organisation and the 5S policies.
  • Ensure that all relevant health & safety policies and procedures are observed.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as required by the business.

Experience, Professional Qualifications and Personal Requirements:

  • Candidates will ideally have experience in a Production & Test Environment.
  • Lean manufacturing knowledge/awareness
  • Level 3 NVQ/BTEC Minimum or relevant equivalent experience
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office applications
