Job Title:  Programmer

As an experienced, long-standing system integrator of industrial robots, EGS develops, designs and produces innovative, needs-oriented and economical complete solutions for industrial production companies. What you will do:

• Independent creation of robot sequence and PLC programmes
• Project-related meetings at the customer's premises or at EGS
• Independent creation of robot sequence programmes
• Checking the completeness of the system, taking into account all customer requirements
• Coordination with construction or technical management in the event of problems with customer systems
• Carrying out acceptance runs of customer plants at the EGS site as well as at the customer's site
• Documentation of the system programming as a basis and component of the subsequent commissioning, training and instruction
• Fault diagnosis on customer systems in the area of mechanics and electrics by means of design drawings and electrical circuit diagrams

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or certified technician qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field
• Experience in PLC programming in best case with Siemens or Codesys
• Experience in Robot Programming of Yaskawa / Fanuc / Kuka
• Enthusiasm for the latest robot technologies
• Flexibility, ability to work in a team and customer-oriented behaviour
• Reliability, diligence and independent working style
• High (international) willingness to travel and customer service assignments for commissioning, repair and maintenance
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-marking, work quality, and to reduce costs.  The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs
