We are seeking a Materials Coordinator to join our team in Denville, NJ. The Materials Coordinator will process and handle components, ensure timely delivery of raw materials to our work cells, and to drive on-time delivery of quality products and systems to our customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, Value
- Pull production orders and deliver raw material throughout the facility to work cells for manufacturing
- Maintain inventory with weekly/monthly cycle counts, daily stockroom documents and transactions
- Issue material to work orders, complete transactions for shipments, invoicing, and material movement in ERP system
- Process quality concerns to return material to suppliers, scrap or move back to production
- Shipping and Receiving: Deliver material to ship along with proper paperwork for returns; identify electronic and mechanical assemblies, verify items, count to purchase orders and accurately record and enter data in ERP; pack, weigh, address and seal boxes containing electro-mechanical assemblies and optical components and their sub-assemblies
- Coordinate with procurement to properly process subcontract work orders to send material out
- Operate with a safety-first mindset
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; basic math aptitude
- Computer skills, ability to work in ERP system preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Flexible, responsive and organized
- Prioritize and work effectively at a variety of demanding tasks and schedules.
- Collaborative team player with a conviction for achievement and problem-solving
