This internship starts Fall Semester 2025.

 

Job Summary:

The Marketing Intern is responsible assisting the marketing department employees with select marketing initiatives for five brands under the guidance of the marketing team. This position is for a college junior or senior during the Fall 2025 semester and is located in Columbus, OH.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform social media content creation from start to finish including graphic design in Adobe Express, scheduling and analyzing performance in Hootsuite
  • Distribute website contact forms to appropriate sales, technical support and client service teams utilizing Outlook and Pardot/Salesforce
  • Assist in website audits, SEO improvement and updates
  • Assist in pulling and analyzing website metrics utilizing Google Analytics and Google Looker Studio
  • Help develop new content for marketing materials including blogs, case studies, email campaigns, etc.
  • Design flyers, edit data sheets, product images and miscellaneous marketing materials utilizing Adobe Express and other Adobe Suite programs
  • Collect and distribute marketing materials and promotional items for tradeshows and misc. events
  • Assist with sales presentations in PowerPoint as needed including editing, formatting, ensuring AMETEK brand standards, etc.
  • Assist in performing competitive analysis, market research and product research
  • Help in developing marketing strategies and programs for products
  • Develop and implement the company’s advertising program - design and place advertisement.

Required Qualifications:

A junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing or business from a recognized, fully accredited program is required. Must be able to work in our Columbus, OH office.

The Marketing Intern must possess the following qualifications: business acumen, detail oriented, ability to work independently, highly proactive work style, ability to partner across all levels and functional areas of the organization to ensure customer needs are met and excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). The flexibility to pivot from one project to another depending on needs and deadlines, ability to meet deadlines, team oriented and eagerness to learn are required attributes. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, familiar with creating graphics using Canva, Adobe Express or other Adobe Suite programs, basic knowledge of Google Analytics and social media management tools like Hootsuite.

 

Compensation

Employee Type:  Hourly
Salary Minimum:  $40,000
Salary Maximum:  $45,000
Incentive:  1289
