Job Description: 

AMETEK Power Protection & Quality Solutions is looking for a highly motivated college undergraduate to serve as a Summer Accounting Intern. As an intern, you will gain first-hand experience in financial reporting for a public company adherent to SOX reporting requirements. AMETEK is seeking a candidate who is quick learning, detail oriented, and eager to maximize their internship experience.

 

Accounting Internship Job Description

  • Assist with transactional accounting tasks for AMETEK Power Protection & Quality Solutions
  • Supporting the preparation of periodic financial reports
  • Contributing to month-end closing processes and supporting general accounting tasks such as reconciliations and compiling data for daily reporting
  • Developing a tool over the course of the internship that will streamline existing processes going forward

Compensation

Employee Type:  Hourly
Salary Minimum:  $30,000
Salary Maximum:  $30,000
Incentive:  No
