Job Title: Continuous Improvement & EHS Manager

The Continuous Improvement (CI) & Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) Manager plays a critical role in driving sustainable change through the creation of embedding AMETEK standards, project management, LEAN methodology and the supporting framework, to deliver true business improvements and transformation. Additionally leading a culture of safety, compliance, and operational excellence across three distinct businesses within a shared Business Unit. This mid-level leadership position is responsible for implementing and sustaining core EHS programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting facility-related initiatives. This role partners closely with local and Corporate EHS, manufacturing, engineering, and site leadership to identify risks, lead improvement projects, and promote proactive manufacturing CI and safety behaviors.
Key EHS Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of EHS programs across multiple sites, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable federal, state, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage all required permits, documentation, and reporting related to EHS.
- Work with site EHS coordinators to conduct regular facility audits and inspections to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
- Perform job hazard analyses for new and modified equipment and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor regulatory trends and proactively address potential compliance risks.
- Investigate accidents and near-misses, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventative actions.
- Track and report safety metrics including DART, LWI, and lost time incidents to drive accountability and transparency.
- Develop and deliver engaging EHS training programs tailored to site specific needs.
- Facilitate safety meetings and promote a culture of safety through visible leadership and communication.
- Serve as a safety champion, reinforcing safe behaviors and practices across all levels of the organization.
Key CI Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute a variety of projects (as assigned), which benefit and have the highest priority and payback for the businesses.
- Collaborate successfully across multiple organizations and cross functional departments.
- Data analysis: Hands-on with the data, leverages data to develop opportunities and insights; backs recommendations and decisions with data.
- Use appropriate LEAN problem-solving tools to provide rapid improvement with sustainable results.
- Operational excellence & LEAN: Uses the LEAN toolbox to identify areas of improvements and drive LEAN practices across the business, where they are needed. Executes quickly, helps look for opportunities, reduces risks, is a problem solver.
- Ensures the business impact and project objectives are identified, reported on and managed at all times. Projects are to be executed on time and within budget.
- Drives cost savings for the business (OPEX savings), with a high level of concentration on Operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Continuous Improvement, Operation Management, Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing, project management or industrial setting.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence others across diverse teams.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Desired Qualifications:
- Lean Six Sigma Certification (preferred)
- Proficiency in TQM process evaluation techniques.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM).
- Experience supporting multiple businesses or facilities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in management systems and data analytics tools.
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
