Position Summary
The Process Engineer at AMETEK Sealtron is responsible for the management of processes in the Final Assembly production area including, but not limited to, Assembly, Wiring, Air Leak & Electrical testing, Part Marking & Inserting/Detailing. The Process Engineer will play a pivotal role in developing detailed project plans that drive the success of our facility. As a problem-solver, you'll tackle obstacles head-on to keep the production line moving smoothly, ensuring we exceed monthly targets and deliver top-quality products on time. Your leadership and expertise will inspire and maximize the potential of the entire Production Team.
Key Responsibilities
• Create detailed 3D CAD models and technical drawings using Solid Works
• Build routings and work instructions for new products. Perform technical reviews on existing documentation. Revise process procedures, SWI’s or forms as needed. Manage Document Control System.
• Promote Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques as the basis for operational excellence. Lead problem solving, process improvement and VAVE projects in the facility
• Provide technical direction and troubleshooting guidance. Perform Root Cause/Corrective Action analysis when required.
• Conduct personnel training on processes and policies in one on one or group settings.
• Responsible to report to the Production Manager any process issues that threaten production and shipping schedule.
• Provide a safe working environment for all employees by maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment, immediately correcting any unsatisfactory or hazardous conditions. Ensure that safety rules and policies are followed.

• Assist with other specific projects or tasks as required to support team goals and operational needs
Requirements for Consideration
The Process Engineer must be able to work to an established manufacturing standards and procedures while maintaining high quality standards. Have a working knowledge of all procedures associated with the area of assignment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years working knowledge in a high mix, intermediate volume manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency with Solid Works CAD software.
• Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO, ASME) and regulatory requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and innovatively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficient with Office365 products.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under deadlines.
• Project management skills, with experience managing timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
• Rapid prototype or 3D printing experience
• Knowledge of PLC programming and automated systems
