Job Title:  Assembly Team Lead

Summary:

As an Assembly Production Lead, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the daily operations of one of our assembly teams. You will be responsible for ensuring and executing production schedules through efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of assemblers, providing guidance and support to ensure daily production targets are met.
• Collaborate with the Production Supervisor to develop and implement production schedules as well as workflow processes.
• Work with the Production Supervisor to monitor and maintain quality control measures to ensure the production of high-quality products.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate assembly team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous workflow.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, sales, and shipping, to optimize overall production efficiency.
• Maintain a safe working environment through implementation and enforcement of safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• High School/Vocational Diploma.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on assembly processes.
• Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, demonstrating the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong knowledge of assembly techniques, production processes, and quality control measures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick and informed decisions.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and other departments.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
