JOB SUMMARY:

The Director of Operations is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the organization. This role ensures operational efficiency, drives process improvements, and aligns operational strategies with business goals. The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams across departments such as supply chain, Production, and facilities.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to ensure targets are met.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to support company goals and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation for operational departments.
  • Manage vendor and partner relationships to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in operations software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or experience with process improvement methodologies.

Compensation

Employee Type:  Salaried
Salary Minimum:  $145,000
Salary Maximum:  $170,000
Incentive:  No
