JOB PURPOSE:
The HRBP serves as a strategic advisor and key partner to the campus leadership team, ensuring that HR strategies and initiatives align with and support the overall business objectives of the campus. The HRBP is responsible for overseeing and managing all HR functions at the manufacturing facility. This role will ensure the effective implementation of HR strategies, policies, and programs to support the plant’s goals while fostering a positive and productive work environment. The HRBP will partner closely with the Plant Manager and other department leaders to address employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, training, and legal compliance.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with respective Division / BUs, Plant Manager and department heads to address any talent needs and issues in a compliant manner.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee relations issues, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaborate with Division / BU, regional and local HR where alignment of HR actions and initiatives are required.
- Ensures plant has the right number and type of talent required to execute campus strategy and achieve desired business results
- Ensures plant realizes required levels of employee productivity and performance excellence required to execute campus strategy and achieve desired business results
- Ensures plant establishes and maintains a positive work environment and operates in alignment with AMETEK’s Values
- Achieves or beats plant budgetary objectives in support of top quartile cost performance objectives while maintaining appropriate levels of HR service delivery
- Ensures the successful implementation of global, regional and local HR business processes and initiatives within the campus
- Utilize data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements in HR processes or employee relations
- Ensures plant compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Company.
Education / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Degree or certification in HR related field is a plus).
Skills and Work Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing or industrial environment and managerial position
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and manufacturing operations.
- Proven ability to manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS software
- Proficient in Chinese and English
