The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to producing work of the highest standards. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling oxygen analyzers, pH/ORP sensors, and various sub-assemblies using written work instructions, production standards, and engineered drawings. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure timely completion of projects. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assemble oxygen analyzers, pH sensors, and sub-assemblies.
  • Utilize standard hand tools including screwdrivers, wrenches, ratchets, hammers, crimpers, and cutting tools safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to efficiently read and utilize a tape measure and straight edge for measuring, marking, cutting, and inspection.
  • Operate hand soldering iron and occasionally use power tools such as hand drill, drill press, cutting wheel, grinder, chop saw, band saw, and similar tools in accordance with safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Communicate any project related issues or concerns to supervisors.
  • Ability to follow written work instructions and engineered drawings.
  • Capable of standing for long periods and lift/move up to 30lbs regularly.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in assembly/manufacturing; preference give to experience in mechanical/electro-mechanical assembly
  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
  • Proficient with standard hand tools (e.g., screw drivers, wrenches, ratchets, hammers, crimpers, and cutting tools, etc.)
  • Proficient in the use of power tools (e.g., drill, grinder, band saw, cutting wheel, chop saw, and similar tools)

Compensation

Employee Type:  Hourly
Salary Minimum:  $40,000
Salary Maximum:  $55,000
Incentive:  No
