Job Description: 

Created in 1989, Antavia has since released more than 150.000 equipment to service. Integrated since November 2007 to the AMETEK MRO division, Antavia benefits from a worldwide network and access to improved funding to support its continuous growth.

 

Antavia offers maintenance services for over 7,000-part numbers from its facilities based in Campsas (close to Toulouse) and Paris CDG with a team of 140 people.

 

The Business Manager, Pricing and Communications will work closely with the DVP/ BU manager and the VP sales Europe for the continued growth and development of company through:

  • the support of the European sales force to deal with RFQ’s, tenders, commercial agreements
  • the active participation in the selection and development of new products to complement the current capabilities
  • leading continuous improvement projects to drive operational excellence  and competitiveness in conjunction with the other directors (Operations, supply chain)
  • active internal and external communication and marketing in support of the European and divisional marketing team

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Support of the European sales force

  • Preparation of all RFQ,’s, tender documents, proposals
  • Review commercial terms of tenders and advises tendering team
  • Management of gross margins at quote stage and during the contract implementation in conjunction with the customer support organisation
  • Commercial advice to BU and Project Management Team
  • Management of commercial issues on contracts, including implementation of risk control procedures

New product development

  • Active participation in the selection, analysis and development of new family of products in conjunction with the management of the BU

Continuous improvement / Operational excellence

  • Active participation in “ competitiveness workshops” and similar action to constantly improve the competitive position of Antavia and drive for higher customer satisfaction
  • Conduct analysis of existing signed contracts for quality improvement
  • Analyse and Identify areas of improvements to the internal processes to be a leading force in the transformation of the company to drive efficiencies in conjunction with all other departments

Internal and external communication

  • Support and improve internal communication efforts to boost the motivation of the staff and encourage and open and honest communication at all levels.
  • Provide local support to the European sales team and the European and divisional  marketing department for external communication and airshows

 

Experience:

  • Experience within an MRO business is a must
