JOB SUMMARY: 

In this role, you will provide technical expertise and support to ensure our products meet customer needs and expectations. You will work closely with the product management team to understand market requirements, develop solutions, and assist in the successful deployment of our products. Your role will also involve direct interaction with customers, troubleshooting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product offerings and technical proposals. This position requires travel, both domestically and internationally, up to 25% of the time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide advanced technical support to customers, addressing complex issues and ensuring optimal product performance.

  • Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand their requirements, and provide tailored product solutions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and enhance product features based on customer feedback and market trends.

  • Develop and deliver training programs for customers and create comprehensive documentation for Aftermarket to support product usage.

  • Support the Sales & Aftermarket team with technical presentations, demonstrations, and proposal development. 

  • Assist product management in analyzing market trends and customers’ needs to inform product strategy and development.

  • Draft technical white papers and assist in providing instructions for our customers.

  • Assist in the Engineered to Order product process, including technical assessment & customer liaising, quotation preparation, Factory Acceptance Testing and support documentation creation.

  • Other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.

  • Minimum of three years of experience in a technical support or applications engineering role preferably within the oil & gas industry.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.

  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of technical specifications and demonstrates proficiency in diagnosing and resolving intricate problems

  • Strong ability to understand and address customer needs, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, Business Development and Sales.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing customer requirements and market conditions.

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time - Domestic and International.
