Job Description:

The Senior Account will maintain and oversee division-wide capital expenditures, division-wide intercompany activity, and provide accounting support to various areas of the company, as needed.

 

Duties and Responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Assists with consolidation and reporting of Paragon Medical's group financials including monthly actuals, forecasts and budgets.
  • Completes monthly close procedures - preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, supporting schedules for capital expenditures.
  • Communicates capital spend and expense results with appropriate members of management. 
  • Coordinates monthly intercompany statements for month-end close.
  • Analyzes and reviews monthly intercompany division to division matching.
  • Provides financial and operational analytics to support operations management.
  • Other projects, as assigned.
  • Participates in forecasting and annual budget process.
  • Participates in property tax review and calculation with outside firm.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum - 4 Year Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Preferred - Graduate degree MBA
  • 5-10 years’ experience in an accounting or finance related field, with a strong background in capital expenditures processes, financial reporting and analysis, financial systems and budgeting is required

  • Must be well-organized and have good attention to detail. 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work well within a team environment. 
  • Advanced computer skills in the following systems: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. 
  • Knowledge of accounting policies and procedures including GAAP, FAS

Compensation

Employee Type:  Salaried
Salary Minimum:  $80,000
Salary Maximum:  $95,000
Incentive:  No
