Job Description: 

The Vice President, Operations will lead production across all business unit locations, including Bonndorf (Germany), Subotica (Serbia), Nachod (Czech Republic), Changzhou (China), and Peschiera (Italy). This role combines strategic oversight with the ability to dive into details, ensuring both the big picture and the finer operational aspects are addressed effectively. They will also foster a high-performance culture and drive operational excellence through Lean Management, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

 

What you will do:

  • Oversee production at all sites, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational excellence
  • Lead and inspire the global Operations team, fostering accountability and results-driven performance
  • Further enhance well-established Manufacturing Engineering practices to boost efficiency and product quality
  • Embed Lean Management and Kaizen principles into daily operations to reduce waste and improve processes
  • Drive a culture of Continuous Improvement (CIP) and support innovation across the production network
  • Champion the identification and sharing of lessons learned across sites and ensure the development and implementation of standardized processes
  • Balance strategic thinking with hands-on problem-solving, addressing both high-level goals and specific challenges
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operations with company-wide objectives

 

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related fields
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in international manufacturing operations
  • Strong background in Lean Management, Kaizen, and CIP methodologies
  • Proven ability to lead diverse, global teams and deliver measurable results
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to navigate between strategy and detailed execution.
