Job Description: 
The HR Generalist will serve as a trusted partner to employees and managers across a broad range of HR activities, including employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits administration, and HR compliance. The role requires a proactive, customer-oriented HR professional who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing environment and is committed to delivering excellent HR services.
This position is temporary for 2 years due to parental leave replacement.
 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Providing support to our employees on general HR-related matters
  • Supporting and advising managers on operational HR issues
  • Drafting employment contracts, contract amendments, performance reviews, and other HR documents
  • Managing HR administration from hire to termination
  • Assistance with performance reviews and labor law issues
  • Collaboration with the works council
  • Preparation of payroll
  • Coordination of the recruiting process, from posting job openings to conducting interviews
  • Contributing to the optimization and further development of our HR processes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree  in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field or completed business appreniceship.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional HR experience in a generalist role.
  • Solid knowledge of German labor law and HR best practices.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent German and good English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.

 

Compensation

Currency:  EUR
Salary Minimum:  65,000
Salary Maximum:  75,000
Incentive:  No
