Job Title:  CNC Setter/Operator (Bognor Regis)

Position Summary

We are looking for CNC Operators to join our Machine Shop Team and to produce high quality parts to required standards, and timescales, and to assist in the introduction and development of productivity improvements within the department, supporting Production Engineering while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting/Operating CNC Lathes, Fixed and sliding head type machines (full training given).

• Carry out adjustments to tooling/machine setting to achieve part component tolerances.

• Ability to interpret CNC programmes (FANUC), and carry out edits as required.

• Use a variety of machinery and equipment as required.

• Carry out work to close limits, read and assess drawings, and inspect to company standards using appropriate equipment in an ISO9001 environment.

• Carry out routine equipment maintenance as required.

• Work in a safe and organized manner in accordance with EHS regulations.

Experience/Qualifications

• GCSE English and Mathematics or equivalent.

• At least 5 years work experience in CNC programming or experience preferred with ability to edit programs.
