Job Description: 

 

The Production Supervisor is a key leadership role in managing a diverse workforce meeting production goals, implementing process improvement activities & sophisticated Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma techniques to maximize profits, quality and on-time delivery within our Repair Center.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and meet forecasted product delivery commitments
  • Direct staffing and training, establishing budgets and strategies, capital, material and labor requirements
  • Environmental, health and safety compliance
  • Participation in development and implementation of repair resource planning and readiness to support business objectives
  • Ensure requirements of customers are met, reducing costs and ensuring on-time delivery
  • Establish metrics to improve efficiency, effectiveness and communication, moving organization toward operational excellence

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • BA or BS degree desired; AA degree in Business, Engineering or related field is the minimum requirement.  3-5 years experience in managing a Service Center or similar operations preferred.

 

SKILLS:

  • Need a high level of people skills w/ demonstrated successful leadership as the driving force in successful organizaitonal changes
  • Proven success working in Instrumentation Repair Station, with computerized Operating System
  • Having utilized education and experience making operational changes using advanced Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools
  • Proactive and positive team player with excellent analytical problem solving skills
  • 3-5 years experience in managing a Repair Station or similar operations preferred.

Compensation

Employee Type:  Salaried
Salary Minimum:  $80,000
Salary Maximum:  $120,000
Incentive:  No
