Job Description: 

Reporting to the Director of Technical Accounting, you will participate in cross-functional projects of the Corporate Financial Reporting department. Core responsibilities revolve around ensuring compliance with GAAP, including implementation of new accounting standards, support of ongoing revenue recognition process and lease accounting process, as well as providing support related to acquisition due diligence and business integration. 

 

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:  

  • Work to ensure technical compliance with GAAP, including implementation of new accounting standards.
  • Research and document complex revenue recognition matters in accordance with ASC 606.
  • Manage lease accounting compliance software, providing technical assistance, access controls and reporting for users throughout the company.
  • Support acquisition due diligence and accounting for business integration, including documenting and maintaining control processes.
  • Research, interpret and document the accounting treatment for complex and non-routine transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly 10-Q and annual 10-K SEC filings.
  • Assist with special accounting assignments as needed.
  • Assist with creating, managing, and maintaining the Company’s accounting policies,
  • Assist or perform other related duties as required and/or assigned within the Corporate Accounting and Financial Reporting group.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
  • CPA preferred, but not required.
  • At least 3+ years of related experience
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management, including senior executives.
  • Basic Accounting principles; knowledge of ERP systems; Microsoft Word/Excel; Experience with Oracle, SAP, CoStar, Lease-query and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) systems a plus
  • Based in the Berwyn, PA office - hybrid work schedule includes 4 days per week in the office.

Employee Type:  Salaried
Salary Minimum:  $85,000
Salary Maximum:  $95,000
