Job Description: 

Reporting to the Senior Manager of IT Audit and Compliance, the Compliance Analyst will ensure that AMETEK attains and then maintains certification to the current CMMC and NIST 800-171 standards, UK Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus standards, and other Cyber Security standards (e.g., NERC) as they become relevant or required.  In this role, you will maintain close working relationships with the IT Leadership Team, the Cyber Security team and the VP of Contracts and Compliance.

 

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:  

  • Maintain knowledge of the current state of the relevant cyber security standards and the roadmap for their future development.  Participate in industry and trade forums as needed.
  • Partner with each business requiring compliance to ensure both the business and IT leaders are prepared for assessments
  • Identify, track, and advise on changes that will be required in IT and business operations to support compliance with the standards.
  • Assess and maintain existing IT Operating Policies and Procedures to ensure Compliance with the standards and good cyber hygiene. Develop additional policies and procedures as required.
  • Streamline the process of System Security Plan (SSP) creation and maintenance as well as the collection of necessary objective evidence to support internal and external audit and compliance assessments.
  • Manage external audits in support of assessments of the company’s compliance with the standards.
  • Ensure identified weaknesses from internal and external assessments are remediated timely.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Finance is required.  Master’s degree is beneficial.
  • At least 3 years of progressive Systems compliance experience required.
  • Prior implementation of NIST800-171, and/or 53 preferred.
  • Cyber Security certification, CISSP certification, CCP certification, and/or CISA certification is highly desirable
  • Must be a US citizen or permanent resident due to the nature of the role.

 

TRAVEL:   minimum 25% of time.

Salary Minimum:  $70,000
