Job Description: 

We are seeking a strategic and creative content writer to craft compelling, consistent, and brand-aligned messaging across a variety of channels. This role will support both Internal Communications (employee engagement, leadership messaging, intranet content), External Communications (press releases, thought leadership, web copy, social media, and marketing collateral), and Executive Communications.   The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller with a strong grasp of corporate tone, voice, and audience segmentation.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Investor Relations function to align external communications and develop executive-level content such as speeches, video scripts, internal podcasts, and leadership updates.
  • Create engaging external content including press releases, website copy, social media posts, PowerPoint decks, blog posts, corporate reporting, and marketing materials.
  • Help maintain an organized, up-to-date calendar covering blogs, internal spotlights, and basic internal or external communications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Executive Leadership, Investor Relations, Information Technology, and Human Resources to align messaging with strategic goals.
  • Align and build relationship with AMETEK business units to help source a consistent content pipeline and gain knowledge for overall communications strategy.
  • Manage and maintain cadence of communication through existing channels, including intranet, newsletters, and spotlights.
  • Proactively identify content gaps and propose solutions that improve clarity, structure, and results.
  • Develop and maintain a unified brand voice across all communications.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, tone, and style.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to optimize future messaging.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in corporate communications.
  • Utilize SEO, GEO, and AEO best practices and coordinate with marketing team to ensure on site implementation in the CMS to track performance.
  • Manage and support customer service requests received via Corporate communication channels, i.e., social media and website.
  • Other tasks as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in corporate writing, content creation, or communications in a B2B environment
  • Strong understanding of tone, voice, and audience targeting.
  • Solid business acumen and ability to translate complex concepts into easy-to-understand language that is audience appropriate.
  • Ability to work at all levels of the organization to mine stories, plan content, drive initiative and influence change
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and/or video production is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint is a plus.

Employee Type:  Salaried
Salary Minimum:  $100,000
Salary Maximum:  $115,000
Incentive:  No
