Job Title:  Manager, Web Platform & Digital Experience

Location:

Berwyn, PA, US, 19312

Business Unit:  Nul
Posting Date:  Sep 30, 2026
Job Description:

AMETEK is migrating its corporate and business unit websites onto a single, modern CMS platform that will unify dozens of domains onto shared templates, a common component library, and consistent technical and content standards. This role is the marketing side of how that platform is built, governed, and adopted across the enterprise.

You will run migration workstreams across many business units simultaneously, define and enforce the standards that keep the platform scalable, and build the training and documentation that raise web capability across teams. You are accountable for supporting businesses to a successful migration that optimizes visitor experience, search capabilities, and content structure, working in close partnership with IT and development resources who own infrastructure.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

CMS Migration Delivery

  • Assist in managing concurrent website migration projects across multiple business units, from intake and content mapping through build, QA, and launch
  • Assist in maintaining project plans, milestones, dependencies, and launch readiness criteria; ensure an accurate enterprise view of status, risk, and sequencing
  • Act as a primary point-of-contact for business stakeholders throughout the migration process; join stand-up meetings, monitor progress, and apply countermeasures for delays
  • Provide guidance, training and workshop support for businesses on multiple key areas to ensure a successful migration:
    • Search / taxonomy framework best practices and support documentation for non-technical users
    • Subject matter expertise on environment build, including template types, component library, search capabilities, and media asset management
    • Content mapping and URL/redirect strategy to protect existing search equity through cutover
    • SEO / AEO content optimization and hygiene for superior crawlability and future-proofing strategy
    • Process orientation and platform ownership of all key information areas for website migration
    • Alignment of resources when necessary to execute central tasks
  • Coordinate with development and IT partners on environment usage, deployment windows, and release sequencing
  • Align pre-and-post-migration QA processes with defined standards: template best practice, component conformance, site structure management, accessibility scoring, SEO scoring, performance, and link integrity

Ongoing Platform Governance & Standards:

  • Maintain and enforce web standards covering page templates, component usage, structured CSS, naming conventions, metadata and taxonomy, and defined integration boundaries
  • Serve as the review and approval point for business unit requests that fall outside established templates and components; distinguish genuine needs from one-off customization and escalate pattern gaps for library expansion
  • Document environment and deployment practices, and communicate platform changes, releases, and known issues to business stakeholders with non-technical experience

Business Unit Enablement

  • Build and maintain documentation library: guides, component usage references, standards checklists, and troubleshooting resources
  • Design and deliver training for business marketers and content authors
  • Run training sessions and open communication channels that build durable knowledge center
  • Act as trusted advisor to business teams on content structure, page design decisions, and what the platform can and cannot do

Search, Content & Experience Quality

  • Establish and optimize SEO / GEO / AEO standards across websites: site architecture, internal linking, metadata, structured data, canonical strategy, and crawl health
  • Apply answer engine optimization practices — schema markup, structured and extractable content patterns
  • Monitor and act on Core Web Vitals, page performance, and accessibility conformance (WCAG 2.2 AA)

Measurement & Reporting

  • Track and report web performance using available tools and platforms
  • Identify underperformance and drive remediation with the relevant business teams
  • Considered use of AI tools for tracking, reporting, and process efficiency gains.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Information Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 - 8 years of experience in web management, digital marketing, or digital development, including hands-on work in an enterprise CMS. Experience with Sitecore is a plus.
  • Experience in web migration, design, or launch activities including UAT, backend organization, and component-based CMS management
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong project organization: ability to run concurrent workstreams with distinct stakeholders and competing timelines
  • Technical web management competency: HTML and CSS proficiency, comfort in browser developer tools, understanding of component-based CMS architecture and structured content models, and enough JavaScript literacy to diagnose issues and communicate credibly with developers
  • Knowledge of SEO / GEO / AEO best practices, including on-page content and structuring. Experience with SEO tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Silktide or equivalent is a plus.
  • GA4 / GTM proficiency, including the ability to build reporting and interpret behavioral data
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs.  The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
  • Detail orientated, disciplined and excellent communication skills
