Job Description: 

Reporting to the Senior Manager of IT Audit and Compliance, the IT Compliance Analyst will ensure that AMETEK maintains a steady state of IT compliance with all SOX audits and cybersecurity compliance initiatives such as CMMC, UK Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus, NIS2, NERC, and other cybersecurity standards as they become relevant or required.  In this role, you will maintain close working relationships with the Audit Services team, the Cybersecurity team and the VP Contracts and Compliance.

 

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:  

  • Perform periodic control reviews and tests to ensure compliance with all external requirements as well as internal policies and procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of the current state of the relevant cybersecurity standards and the roadmap for their future development.  
  • Partner with each business requiring compliance to ensure both the business and IT leaders are prepared for assessments
  • Identify, track, and advise on changes that will be required in IT and business operations to support compliance with the standards.
  • Assess and maintain existing IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the standards; additionally, collaborate on development of additional policies and procedures as required.
  • Assist in managing external audits in support of assessments of the company’s compliance with existing and emerging standards.
  • Ensure identified weaknesses from internal and external assessments are remediated timely.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, or Finance is required.  
  • At least 3 years of IT audit and/or compliance experience in a SOX environment required.
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification or equivalent is preferred
  • Must be a US citizen or permanent resident due to the nature of the role
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Active interest in cybersecurity 

 

TRAVEL:   

  • Onsite audits and assessments are required
  • You may be required to travel up to 20% of time across AMETEK’s global locations

Compensation

Employee Type:  Salaried
Salary Minimum:  $70,000
Salary Maximum:  $85,000
