Job Description:
Our Corporate Receptionist/Administrator is the face and voice of AMETEK for visitors and callers to our headquarters location. If you have excellent communication skills and enjoy helping people, this may be the right career move for you!
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES IN A COLLABORATIVE ENVIRONMENT:
- Answer incoming calls via a web-based phone system (Microsoft Teams) and route callers to the appropriate employee or business location
- Greet guests and monitor in-person visitor access via web-based registry system
- Sort incoming mail and manage UPS and FedEx packaging
- Coordinate catering of lunches for corporate meetings/events
- Assist with coordination of occasional employee events.
- Assist with coordination of various departmental large mailings.
- Provide clerical/administrative support as needed.
- Other duties/projects as assigned.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE POSITION:
- High School diploma/GED
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate receptionist or administrative role
- Proven excellent customer service skills
- Positive attitude, pleasant and professional demeanor
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook mail, Word, Excel, and Teams)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
