Summary
We’re looking for a hands-on leader to modernize and manage our test field. In this role, you’ll combine technical expertise in EMC/high-frequency testing with a passion for process optimization and team development. You’ll implement Lean principles like 5S, establish an internal KPI system, and build a flexible, cross-trained team. Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Culture Building
- Lead and organize the test field team with a focus on performance, structure, and innovation.
- Foster a culture of ownership, cross-training, and knowledge sharing.
- Act as a role model and coach to drive motivation and accountability.
2. Process Optimization & Lean Implementation
- Design and implement a continuous improvement system (CIP).
- Apply Lean principles such as 5S, Standard Work, and Visual Management to increase efficiency and transparency.
- Analyze and optimize existing workflows with a focus on throughput, quality, and adaptability.
3. Testing & Analysis (approx. 50% of working time)
- Perform tests and measurements on devices in the field of EMC and high-frequency technology in accordance with applicable standards.
- Document results and prepare clear, structured test reports.
4. Performance & Quality Management
- Establish a KPI system to monitor performance, quality, and resource utilization.
- Use data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement and transparency.
- Develop and maintain a skill matrix to support team flexibility and succession planning.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with production, development, and product management teams.
- Integrate test results and improvement ideas into production planning and product lifecycle processes.
Requirements
Technical Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, High-Frequency Technology, or a comparable field.
- Solid experience in EMC/high-frequency testing and measurement.
Professional Experience & Tools
- Minimum three years leadership experience, ideally in a test field or technical team environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics NAV) is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Excel and other Office tools.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly grasp and apply technical concepts.
- Independent, structured working style with the ability to prioritize and deliver under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
Language Skills
