Position Summary:
The Regional Sales Manager will manage the channel partners to achieve high growth to deliver orders and profitability to AMETEK Process Instruments and by being accountable for key opportunities working collaboratively to position AMETEK Process Instruments as the analyzer of choice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and drive all sales activities to meet or exceed regional orders and sales targets using Salesforce and other tools
- Manage regional distributors and performance manage against budgeted quotas.
- Collaborate with the service team to cultivate strong customer relationships, enhancing repeat business and overall customer satisfaction.
- Support the delivery of products and application training of Reps, Distributors & Customers.
- Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by the Sales Manager to contribute to overall business success.
Knowledge & Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering/science or equivalent experience with demonstrated aptitude.
- 8+ years in sales of instrumentation into industrial markets.
- 5+ years in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and CEMS markets; strong background in analytical instrumentation is highly desirable.
- Proven track record in managing channel partner ecosystems.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing regional growth strategies.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the region.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
