The primary purpose of this position is to support the engineering team in testing, wiring, and integrating various systems as required by the engineers. These systems may include a wide range of power electronics and communication equipment, including high-frequency three-phase online UPS systems. The ideal candidate will be an energetic and experienced professional with a strong team-oriented mindset and a willingness to work collaboratively across functions.

 

Job Duties

  • To Support engineers in the testing and validation of various power electronic systems.
  • Possess strong wiring knowledge to understand and execute engineering requirements effectively.
  • Perform mechanical assembly of systems and equipment as per engineering specifications.
  • Take complete ownership of products sent for testing, evaluation, or other purposes, ensuring proper tracking and accountability.
  • Maintain accurate logistics records and ensure all related documentation is updated and managed effectively.
  • Support production quality activities, pilot builds, and prototype system assembly.
  • Identify and demonstrate Design for Manufacturing (DFM) issues observed during assembly, wiring, and testing activities, and provide feedback to engineers to support continuous product improvement and better product development.
  • Assist in system integration, troubleshooting, and debugging activities as required by the engineering team.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures during assembly and testing activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineers and cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and deliverables.
  • Engineers in all types of power electronic system testing
  • Wiring knowledge is compulsory to understand the Engineering requirements.
  • Mechanical assembly knowledge for the assembly of the given system.
  • To keep track of logistics and must take the complete responsibility of the products which will sent for testing and other purposes.
  • To keep track of the logistics and its documentation.
  • Support in production quality and pilot building of the system
  • Demonstrate DFM issues observed in assembly, wiring and testing and inform the Engineer towards the better product development

 

Required Skills and Education

  • ITI or JOC or any minimum 2 year Technical course, Diploma will be added an advantage.
  • 3+ years of experience developing power conversion products (UPS, battery chargers, AC drive)
  • Experience in system wiring and testing arrangements.
  • Experience in Mechanical assembly and reading the Mechanical drawings.

 

Desirable Skills

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Need to maintain the documentation in word and excel.
