AMETEK’s India Talent Acquisition (TA) Manager will develop and implement innovative and streamlined recruiting strategies to attract top talent, enhance our employer brand, and support our organization's talent and growth objectives across designated AMETEK business units. The Recruitment Manager will oversee the entire talent acquisition lifecycle, manage the recruitment team, and ensure compliance with employment laws — championing AMETEK's core values and the AMETEK Growth Model.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development & Growth Alignment

  • Design, implement, and manage effective sourcing and recruitment strategies aligned with the AMETEK Growth Model and business unit objectives.
  • Adoption of AI tools in recruitment process.
  • Develop innovative approaches to attract top-tier talent in the technology, engineering, and manufacturing sectors relevant to AMETEK's operations.
  • Participate in business processes that are essential to the AMETEK Growth Model, ensuring talent acquisition efforts directly support organizational growth. 

Team Leadership

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop the recruitment team, assigning tasks and setting KPIs.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the recruitment function, in line with AMETEK's operational philosophy.
  • Provide coaching, training, and career development support to TA team members.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with hiring managers and business unit leaders across AMETEK's diverse divisions (Engineering, Finance, IT, Operations, Digital Marketing, Supply Chain) to understand department needs, define job requirements, and establish selection criteria.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and AMETEK's corporate HR team to ensure alignment with enterprise-wide talent strategies.

Process Improvement & Candidate Experience

  • Streamline the hiring process — from applicant screening to onboarding — ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Implement procedures focused on improving the overall candidate journey and ensuring positive interactions with AMETEK.
  • Manage and optimize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and recruitment technology stack for efficiency and data integrity.

Metrics & Reporting

  • Monitor and report on recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source of hire, quality of hire).
  • Track and analyze recruitment data to identify bottlenecks, trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare reports on team performance for leadership review.

Employer Branding

  • Leverage social media, career fairs, university partnerships, and networking to attract top talent.
  • Support programs such as Tuition Reimbursement, Engineering Management Program (EMP), Financial Management Program (FMP), Apprenticeship and Internship Programs, AMETEK University, and Leadership Development Programs as part of employer value proposition messaging.

Compliance & Ethics

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, acting with the highest ethical standards as core to who AMETEK is.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a relevant field. Master's degree (MBA or MHRM) preferred.
  • 12+ years of proven experience as a Recruitment Manager, Talent Acquisition Manager, or similar HR role, preferably within manufacturing, technology, or engineering environments.
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition techniques, labor legislation, employment laws, and diversity & inclusion best practices.
  • Experience recruiting for engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, and IT roles — reflecting AMETEK's core functional areas.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, resume databases, and recruitment analytics tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills; ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing recruitment team.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
