Job Description: 

Primary responsibilities for this position include performing large-scale data management and sustainability reporting platform administration, conducting environmental performance data analysis (including but not limited to energy, water, greenhouse gas emissions, waste, and fleet), supporting collection of social data including workforce, health, wellness, and safety data, and supporting various sustainability reporting functions when directed.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage IBM Envizi sustainability reporting software system
  • Complete regular reviews to ensure data completeness and accuracy (e.g., energy consumption, fuel usage, water consumption, hazardous and non-hazardous waste, and other variables if added)
  • Communicate with site designees to resolve data errors
  • Provide training for system users and create documentation
  • Manage process for annual sustainability data collection (e.g., fleet, refrigerants)
  • Manage portfolio for sustainability reporting (new sites, reporting structure, square footage)
  • Lead integration of sustainability data for acquired sites
  • Administer and monitor the tracking of business unit sustainability projects
  • Generate business unit and regional specific sustainability dashboards that help business leaders track performance
  • Support with sustainability reporting initiatives (external rating agencies, reporting frameworks)
  • Support annual third party and internal audit verification of environmental data
  • Research and benchmark peer disclosures

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Majors: Information systems or related field
  • 3 years of experience in a business setting and experience with sustainability reporting preferred

EMEA Shift based on the role requirement

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Required:

  • Excellent excel and data management skills
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage, manipulate, and analyze utility invoices and usage data (energy, water, waste)
  • Ability to effectively work with a team
  • Detail-oriented mindset
