Job Title:  Sitecore Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architecture for XM Cloud applications.
• Develop and maintain architectural standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Lead the design and integration of cloud services, ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
• Conduct architectural reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with cloud architecture.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and trends.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of cloud service providers and tools.
• Support the continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure and processes.
• Provide high-level and detailed solution design and taking an engagement from conceptual / architecture to deployment.
• Drive overall application design and architecture, functional and nonfunctional requirements like application performance tuning, scaling, capacity management, archiving etc.
• Work with FED and CMS developer to deliver the solutions. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a cloud architect, with a strong portfolio of cloud-based solutions.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• 5+ years of overall development experience within Sitecore & Microsoft technology stack.
• Hands-on experience in working on enterprise grade project deployed on production based on Sitecore XM cloud and Next.JS.
• Proficiency in designing data models and pages/sites using XM Cloud.
• Experience in JavaScript frameworks like Next.JS and deploying / managing applications on Vercel(Must).
• Implement server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) for optimal performance.
• Capable of leading a team of developers for Sitecore implementations based on Sitecore XM cloud from scratch.
• Previously experienced with all aspects of Sitecore development, best practices, and deployment of Sitecore.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Good understanding of web application security  and is able to address it during development and maintenance phase.
• Good to have  - Experience with privacy compliance using OneTrust or similar platform.
• Good to have - Knowledge of GTM, Google analytics and SEM 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with XM Cloud or similar cloud-based platforms.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and serverless computing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Experience with data storage and management solutions (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, data lakes).
• Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the cloud architecture community.
• Certification in cloud architecture or related technologies.
