About Function:
We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Developer cum Administrator to join our Corporate IT team. This dual role involves designing and developing solutions on the ServiceNow platform while also managing platform administration, performance, and user support. The ideal candidate should be equally comfortable writing custom scripts, creating workflows, and ensuring platform stability and compliance.
This role requires close coordination with various business, Corporate IT, and other multiple teams within the organization.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and develop solutions using ServiceNow platform capabilities such as Catalog Items, Workflows, UI Policies, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Integration Hub.
- Customize and enhance modules like Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Asset, and CMDB.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts, scheduled jobs, and custom applications to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather technical requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Implement platform upgrades and new features, ensuring minimal disruption to existing services.
- Perform day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform including user and group access, data integrity, and security.
- Manage platform configuration, monitoring, performance tuning, and scheduled maintenance.
- Create and maintain system documentation, including process flows, data mappings, and technical configuration records.
- Ensure compliance with ITSM best practices, audit requirements, and internal security policies.
- Support end users with issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide training or documentation as needed.
Candidate Requirement:
- Overall Experience:
- Proven experience in both ServiceNow development and administration.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting concepts.
- Experience in implementing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and their implementation in ServiceNow.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues across the platform and recommend best practices.
- Good understanding of data models, ACLs, roles, and ServiceNow security layers.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
