Job Description: 

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Sr Embedded Test Engineer with experience in testing embedded systems for commercial or consumer kitchen equipment, such as ovens and fryers. This role involves designing and executing test plans to ensure the safety, functionality, and reliability of embedded systems. The ideal candidate has experience with hardware and software testing, automation, and is comfortable working in an environment where safety and quality are top priorities.

 

Basic Requirements:

  • 5 – 8 years of experience in embedded systems.
  • Degree in E&C Engineering or equivalent.
  • Well-spoken with attitude to learn and experiment in new areas.

Technical Skills:

  • Develop, document, and execute test plans and test cases for embedded systems for Automotive, kitchen equipment, with a focus on safety, functionality, and performance.
  • Conduct functional, integration, system, and regression testing on clusters, ovens, grills, and related embedded devices.
  • Simulate real-world usage scenarios to ensure the reliability and robustness of the embedded systems, considering factors like heat, moisture, and long-term durability.
  • Generate test reports and analyse data to provide feedback to engineering teams and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Very good communication skills, should be able to articulate and communicate in English with US and European Teams and Customers.
  • Strong knowledge of temperature control systems, sensors, timers, and safety protocols.
  • Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
  • Expert in Automotive test tools like CANanalyzer, Capl scripting.
  • Good understanding of Linux, BareMetal and FreeRTOS systems.
  • Good understanding of CAN, I2C, SPI and Ethernet test tools and protocols.
  • Good understanding for Automation Testing for Embedded Products.
