Job Title:  Senior Software Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and implement software solutions for an approved and assigned project which may target a new product or alternatively a major re-release of an existing product following the software development lifecycle.
• Derive low level design from the underlying architecture based on the requirements & implement the same with highest quality & reliability.
• Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code. 
• Make informed decisions quickly and taking ownership of software applications.
• Maintain existing software by performing necessary bug-fixes, etc.
• Supports products indirectly by working with other departments such as Product Support, Product Management, Manufacturing, etc.
• Improve skills through self-study and/or short course attendance.
• Complete adherence to the quality process & compliance to regulatory standards as applicable.
• Works within the AMT Engineering Product Development Process.
• Passionate about software development.
• Work collaboratively with others to achieve goals.
• Works effectively in a cross-discipline engineering team.
• Flexible work schedule to accommodate global team.

Candidate Requirement:

• Overall Experience: 
  • 4 to 10 years
• Required Skills:
  • Proficiency with the following programming languages / technologies:
  • C++ for Linux based environments
  • Experience with a broad variety of source control systems such as GIT, TFS, SVN, etc.
  • Experience in developing software systems that targets a variety of operating systems such as Windows, Linux, etc.
  • Experience in delivering products with outstanding User Experience.
  • Experience Working in an Agile Environment.
  • Demonstrated drive for results.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with workplace digital skills is required.
• Preferred Skills:
  • C# with .NET Framework (>= 3.5) and / or .NET Core (>=2.0)
  • WPF and / or UWP with MVVM
  • Software development using multi-threading and asynchronous programming.
  • Experience in developing Web APIs preferably using ASP .NET Core
  • Any MVVM framework preferably Prism
  • Secure software development.
  • Experience in electrochemical instrumentation design and development

• Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, computer information systems, computer engineering or a related discipline.
