Job Description: 

Position Summary:

 

Conceptualize and execute test plans for various programmable AC and DC power products. Develop test procedures to verify functional specifications of power supply. Perform detailed testing on the power hardware, software GUI and integration testing of various software and hardware modules. Develop test boxes and fixtures required for hardware and software testing. Responsible for developing/ Modifying and testing various application standards such as DO160, MIL704, Airbus standards etc.

 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

 

Business Strategy

 

  • Serve as a key member of the technical team responsible for developing and executing system‑level testing for both new and existing products.

 

Performance, Metrics & Reporting

 

  • Review technical requirements and develop project plan support development of different AC and DC programmable power supplies.
  • Analyze product specifications and develop test scripts to validate functionality of the system.
  • Plan, manage, and track project schedules effectively.
  • Provide regular (weekly) status updates on project progress.

 

People Management & Employee Development

 

  • Collaborate closely with digital and hardware teams for test plan and test script development.
  • Adhere to all personnel policies and organizational guidelines.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of staff, departmental, and company information.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Experiences

 

  • 4–7 years of strong DVT experience in testing power products and controllers.
  • Knowledge on programmable power supplies working is required
  • Experience in testing products against the application standards such as MIL704, DO160, Airbus standards etc.
  • Hands‑on experience with laboratory equipment such as DMMs, multiplexers, and oscilloscopes.
  • Familiarity with communication interfaces including RS‑232, USB, and Ethernet (preferred).
  • Experience with NI TestStand and automated testing tools.
  • Strong debugging, diagnostic, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams (e.g., India–USA collaboration).

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Plan, create, maintain, and execute detailed test plans and validation strategies.
  • Develop, release, and maintain technical documentation and test scripts as required.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of system‑level product functionality and establish the necessary test setups for validation.
  • Analyze, understand, and reproduce customer‑reported issues for effective resolution.
  • Provide sustenance support for existing product platforms as needed.
  • Perform release activities for the various fixes done (Software, Hardware, firmware etc) through ECO.
  • Conduct evaluation testing of products and generate formal summary reports.
  • Demonstrate the ability to multitask effectively between new product development and sustenance activities.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Technical Manager or Tech Lead.
