Job Title:  Senior Accountant

Position Summary:

We are seeking a self-starting, detail-oriented individual with Strong Accounting Background. The individual would be based out of Bangalore and would primarily support the US-GAAP & Local-GAAP Accounting for AMETEK India.

Position Responsibilities:

• Supports Month end Close process as per US GAAP & I GAAP for AMETEK India.
• Intercompany recharge as per the service agreement and preparation of reconciliation and resolving the difference on timely basis.
• Managing end-to-end AP and Intercompany accounting and payments processes.
• Support Statutory Audit, Account finalization and preparation of Financial Statements.
• Maintains and monitors the fixed assets system and accounting.
• Performs reconciliation of Balance sheet accounts and support SOX Reporting’s.
• Ensure compliance with DLA and company policies.
• Support accounting and Reporting activities for Middle East Expansions.
• Any other as required.

Skills/Qualifications:

• B.Com/M.Com/M.B.A with 4–6 years of strong experience in Corporate Finance of a reputed global product company.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
• Proficient in Microsoft advance Excel skills and worked in an ERP environment.
• Exposure of Hyperion will be an advantage.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to understand and interact with people from other geographies.
