SEO Specialist Job Description


We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented SEO Specialist to join the AMETEK HT-FMH marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization strategies to improve our website’s visibility, drive organic traffic, and enhance user engagement. This role will also involve researching topics for marketing content, including competitor research. We are searching for someone who is analytical and able to deliver real results.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Optimize website content, landing pages, and blog posts for search engines.
  • Perform technical SEO audits and implement fixes (e.g., site speed, mobile usability, crawl errors).
  • Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Ahrefs
  • Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are followed.
  • Build high-quality backlinks through outreach and partnerships.
  • Research competitors and report insights
  • Research and suggest topics for blog and social media content according to industry trends and questions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
  • Prepare regular performance reports and present insights to stakeholders.

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Ahrefs
  • Skilled in identifying content gaps and opportunities by evaluating top-performing competitor content.
  • Proven experience conducting competitive SEO analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities in competitor strategies.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
