Job Description: 

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with the Supply Management team and support the headquarters team in Kleve by assisting with tasks including
  • Support and coordination of RFQs (Requests for Quotation) with suppliers in the Indian region, including initial commercial evaluation of quotations in alignment with Business Unit (BU).
  • Support the monitoring and coordination of supplier activities to achieve on-time delivery targets for materials.
  • Monitor and support the continuous improvement of inventory KPIs, focusing on material availability, inventory optimization at Vendor.  
  • Track FAS items and coordinate the required quality control activities for FAS as well as production lots.
  • Assist in follow-up activities to ensure smooth material flow through supplier visits in India.   
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs

 

Position Requirements:

  • Completed commercial or technical training (associate degree)
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in purchasing
  • Good written and spoken English skills, business fluent
  • Good user knowledge of MS Office products
