Job Title: Power Electronics Engineer
Bangalore, KA, IN, 560048
The Electronics Engineer will be responsible for supporting hardware design, circuit-level analysis, and integration activities for motor drive and motor controller assemblies.
The role focuses on assisting in the development of BLDC motor controllers and power electronics circuits, contributing to the transition from prototype to production by supporting board bring-up, testing, and design refinement for reliable serial manufacturing. The engineer will learn and apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Testability (DFT), and EMI/EMC-aware layout principles to help optimize product designs for performance, robustness, and cost-effectiveness.
Additionally, the engineer will work closely with senior designers, cross-functional teams, and suppliers to support component selection, prototype builds, and validation activities for motor drive electronics used in Motor drive & thermal management applications. Actively contribute to hardware design and test activities and is expected to deliver accurate, high-quality results while working under the guidance of experienced engineers and progressively building the ability to work independently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with engineering leaders and senior designers to support product design and development activities, contributing to quality and reliability goals.
- Assist in prototype building, Simulations, bench testing, and validation of BLDC motor controllers under the guidance of experienced engineers, learning to meet quality, schedule, and cost expectations.
- Support the team by preparing test data, observations, and progress inputs for status reports and design reviews.
- Learn and follow established quality processes and applicable regulatory standards during design and testing activities.
- Demonstrate willingness to understand requirements, take initiative, and progressively contribute as an individual while seeking guidance when needed.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining engineering and production documentation such as schematics, test reports, BOMs, and design records.
