Job Title:  Mechanical Design Engineer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities, include the following:

1. Experience designing precision mechanical systems, involving complex assemblies and tight tolerances.
2. Strong background in drawing creation to make views, sections, details to make drawings fully defined
3. Use photos, spread sheets and other non-drawing forms of communication and to translate into a complete models and drawings
4. Complete Project drawings with limited supervision and able to follow standards.
5. Knowledge of GD&T, Tolerance Stack-up and ASME Y14.5 standards
6. Awareness of CAD File Management Techniques (Solidworks PDM/other PLM tools also acceptable)
7. Advanced skills in 3D CAD modeling, assemblies, and technical drawings, ideally within SolidWorks
8. Ability to perform hand calculations, tolerance stack-ups and support the design verification where needed.
9. Knowledge and experience in relevant Industry standards
10. Knowledge on calculating Stresses and thermal Gradients using available tools
11. Knowledge of CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, injection molding, and additive manufacturing, with proven DFM experience
12. Knowledge of FEA and ANSYS/Solidworks Simulation will be an added advantage.
13. Knowledge of CAD and CFD (Flow / Thermal Simulation) simulation will be an added advantage.

Experience, Education & Tool skills:

1. Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with 2 - 4 years of experience
2. Strong background in use of CAD Softwares (SOLIDWORKS) – Modelling and Drafting.
3. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and work effectively with Global Team
