Role Overview

 

We are seeking a dynamic, data-driven, and strategic Marketing Manager to lead AMETEK India & Middle East corporate marketing function from our Bangalore office. This is an all-round marketing leadership role spanning traditional marketing, digital marketing, product & solution marketing, events, market intelligence, lead generation, and marketing operations.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can build and execute marketing strategies that amplify AMETEK's brand across India, generate high-quality leads, support Business Development teams with market insights, and drive measurable business impact across all AMETEK Business Units operating in India & Middle east.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Marketing Strategy & Planning

 

  • Develop and execute the Annual Marketing Plan for AMETEK India & Middle East aligned with corporate and BU-level business goals
  • Define marketing objectives, KPIs, budgets, and calendar for all planned activities
  • Collaborate with the BD Director and BU Sales leaders to align marketing initiatives with revenue targets and market expansion priorities
  • Manage the lead lifecycle end-to-end — capture, qualification, scoring, nurturing, and handoff to sales/BD teams
  • Run account-based marketing (ABM) programs targeting key strategic accounts in India
  • Act as the marketing point of contact for all AMETEK BUs operating in India & Middle east — coordinate joint marketing activities, share best practices, and avoid duplication
  • Collaborate with AMETEK Corporate Marketing (US/Global) to align India initiatives with global campaigns, brand standards, and reporting requirements
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and freelancers — creative, digital, PR, event management, and printing.

 

Digital Marketing

 

  • Own and manage AMETEK India's digital marketing ecosystem — social media (LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter), email campaigns, and online content
  • Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel digital campaigns to drive brand awareness, web traffic, engagement, and lead generation
  • Track and report digital KPIs — impressions, CTR, CPL, MQLs, conversion rates, and ROI on digital spend
  • Leverage AI-powered marketing tools and emerging digital trends to enhance campaign effectiveness

 

Traditional Marketing & Brand Management

 

  • Plan and manage print advertising, industry publications, brochures, catalogs, technical datasheets, and corporate collateral
  • Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints — visual identity, messaging, tone, and guidelines per AMETEK corporate standards
  • Manage PR activities — press releases, media relations, thought leadership articles, and industry awards submissions in collaboration with corporate PR.
  • Production of corporate presentations, case studies, success stories, and customer testimonials 

 

 Events — Tech Days, Seminars & Webinars

 

  • Plan, organize, and execute AMETEK Tech Days — flagship technical seminars showcasing AMETEK solutions across BUs
  • Manage trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and industry events - end-to-end: booth design, content, logistics, staffing, follow-up, ROI
  • Organize and host webinars and virtual events - topic identification, speaker coordination, registration management, promotion, and post-event analytics
  • Coordinate customer seminars, lunch-and-learn sessions, and promote Customer Solution Centre (CSC) demonstrations jointly with BU sales teams
  • Track event ROI through attendee engagement, lead capture, pipeline influence, and post-event conversion

 

Product & Solution Marketing

 

  • Work closely with BU Product Managers and Application Engineers to create compelling product positioning, value propositions, and solution narratives
  • Create solution-based marketing content targeting key industry verticals — Aerospace & Defence, Power & Energy, Automotive, Semiconductor, Oil & Gas, Date Centres, Academia & Research, Steel etc.
  • Support cross-selling and upselling initiatives by marketing AMETEK's multi-BU capabilities as integrated solutions

 

Market Research & Intelligence

 

  • Conduct market research — industry trends, market sizing, customer segmentation, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities
  • Prepare and distribute Monthly Market Reports to senior management and BU heads covering:
    • Market trends and developments
    • Sector-wise opportunity & Investment mapping
  • Maintain a centralized market intelligence repository accessible to BD and sales teams
  • Leverage AI driven research tools (Statista, Frost & Sullivan, industry associations, government data) and primary research (customer interviews, surveys)

 

Marketing Dashboard & Analytics

 

  • Design, build, and maintain a Marketing Dashboard providing real-time visibility into:
    • Campaign performance (digital + traditional)
    • Event ROI and attendance tracking
    • Social media engagement metrics
    • Budget utilization and spend tracking
  • Present monthly/quarterly marketing performance reviews to the BD Director and leadership team
  • Use data-driven insights to continuously optimize marketing strategies and resource allocation

 

Required Qualifications

 

Education

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Engineering
  • MBA in Marketing or equivalent postgraduate qualification (strongly preferred)

 

Experience

 

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience with at least 5+ years in B2B / industrial / technology marketing
  • Proven experience in both traditional and digital marketing — integrated campaign planning and execution
  • Experience in event management — trade shows, seminars, webinars, tech days
  • Experience working in a multinational / matrix organization with global stakeholders is preferred.
