POSITION SUMMARY: The Oracle EBS Technical Consultant Systems Analyst will serve as a key member on the AMETEK Corporate implementation and support teams, with specific responsibilities to support EBS related technical support . He/she will have a leadership role in understanding the requirements to develop workflows / Extensions / XML Publisher and APEX reports for the business
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Hands-on experience of writing complex queries and reports on APEX reporting platform against ERP systems
- Expertise in Oracle forms / XML Publisher / Workflows / PL/SQL / Reports
- Hands-on Experience in Oracle R11i with functional knowledge on Core Oracle EBS functional areas
- Must have good experience in translating business requirements and design into technical solutions
- Exposure to Data Migration to and from Oracle EBS to third party systems is highly desirable
- Should have the ability to research and Trouble shoot existing complex customizations
- Good Knowledge on Unix Scripting and OAF for creating web-based applications
- Strong knowledge of various Oracle development tools, system administration and database structure
- Maintain version management and document technical spec
- Timely completion of developments task requested by business stakeholders
- Experience in Incident Management tools and Change management systems is highly desirable
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred
- 5-8 years working on APEX Reporting Tool,
- The candidate should have worked in a manufacturing environment with expertise in order management, supply chain, or manufacturing processes and technology systems
OTHER SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Excellent communication skills and team player.
- Ability to multi task and prioritize requirements is a must
