Job Description: 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead IT infrastructure operations including End User Computing, servers, networking, and IT Helpdesk across the region.
  • Drive adoption of AI tools (Microsoft Copilot, Claude, NotebookLM, etc.) and automation initiatives to streamline IT and business operations.
  • Manage and optimize ITSM platform (ServiceNow) to ensure SLA-driven, high-quality IT service delivery.
  • Monitor, track, and drive strategic IT initiatives and update project status to senior business leaders.
  • Develop and publish IT performance reports, dashboards, and KPIs for leadership visibility.
  • Implement and enforce data security, network security, and Disaster Recovery (DR) policies across the region.
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors, including contract negotiations, SLA monitoring, and performance reviews.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop local IT teams to build regional capability and self-sufficiency.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders across India and the Middle East to identify gaps in processes and propose technology-driven improvements.
  • Present business cases and IT roadmaps to senior leaders and steering committees for approvals.
  • Work with internal and external auditors on compliance requirements related to IT and business processes.
  • Support ERP transformation initiatives and participate in IT budgeting.
  • Travel to offices across India and the Middle East as required.

 

Candidate Requirement:

 

Overall Experience:

 

  • 12+ years of relevant experience in IT management and leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of IT Infrastructure, End User Computing, Networking, and Applications.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools, Automation, Helpdesk, and ITSM (ServiceNow).
  • Strong exposure to working with senior business leaders and presenting business cases and status updates.
  • Good people/team management experience.
  • Strong understanding of data security, DR, network security, and vendor management.
  • Good understanding of business processes in manufacturing environments.

Required Skills:

  • Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to interact with business leaders across India and Middle East.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring IT teams.
  • Expertise in IT budgeting and cost management.
  • Solid project management experience with ability to drive cross-functional IT initiatives.

 

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to ERP systems (SAP, Navision / Business Central, Oracle, etc.).
  • Knowledge of web or application development processes.
  • Exposure to order management, supply chain, or manufacturing processes and technology systems.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISM, or Microsoft certifications.
