Job Description:
As a member of the Electronics R&D Team, the Electronics Test Engineer is responsible for designing automated test equipment that is used to validate, configure, program and test electronic circuits (PCBAs) and electronic systems. The designed test equipment can be used for internal R&D purposes but also for volume production at manufacturing sites. The engineer will be involved in hardware and software development related to the test equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in project management to evaluate costs and timeline of development.
- Define test requirements.
- Participate in DFT (Design-for-Test) reviews and internal standards.
- Design electronic circuits and electronics systems (schematic).
- PCB design (PCB Layout) for test equipment.
- Cable harness design.
- Assembly of electronic test equipment, including soldering on PCBA.
- Development of firmware and software required to operate the test equipment.
- Write documentation to support the operation and maintenance of the equipment.
- Support production operators related to test equipment.
Qualifications required:
- Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
- Experience in electrical schematic design.
- Experience in PCB layout design.
- Experience with electronic test equipment (oscilloscope, JTAG, etc).
- Experience in firmware programming ( C / C++ )
- Experience in software programming ( C / C++ / C# / Python )
- Language: Written and spoken English is mandatory.
