Job Description:
Roles and Responsibilities
- Understand all products of AMETEK business units and map the current markets.
- Explore new market opportunities within the existing market through funnel mapping.
- Market research activities for new and adjacent market opportunities for multiple AMETEK products.
- Visit customers to present AMETEK solutions and build opportunity funnel.
- Work with BD Director and marketing team in preparing marketing plans and strategies. Lead the corporate marketing initiatives.
- Establish and maintain customer relationship management database.
- Conduct competitive product analysis and market research to develop roadmap and sales strategy to secure new business.
- Develop good customer relations through visits, phone calls, emails.
- Responsible for marketing campaigns, trade shows, tech days, seminar & webinars to enhance brand value.
- Prepare market analysis reports, market segment presentations, monthly reports, tender tracking, website leads tracking.
- Work with Government customers, managing tenders, registrations and bid management.
- Lead the Customer Support Centre (CSC) initiatives to engage with BUs and organize customer visits.
- Available to travel 40% to 50% of the time for customer visits.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to interact effectively in English with foreign colleagues.
- Good interpersonal skills, team player with a collaborative style.
- Prior experience in interacting with Govt/ DPSU customers.
- Able to demonstrate good numeracy and ability to construct complex costing sheets.
- Ability to interact and communicate with stakeholders across business units Globally.
- Ability to understand commercial terms and conditions and discuss with customers and BUs contacts.
- Computer fluent, with specific attention to e-mail and MS Office product skills; CRM tools.
Qualification & Experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electronics/Systems engineering
- 10+ years of experience in working in business development, marketing.
