Job Title:  Business Analyst

Role Summary:

This role will act as the business owner for data migration from Microsoft Dynamics Navision to SAP S/4HANA across multiple European entities. The Business Analyst will ensure that data is accurate, complete, and aligned to business requirements, working closely with functional teams and local stakeholders.

In addition to migration responsibilities, this role will support process improvement initiatives, leveraging data insights and emerging AI capabilities to enhance efficiency, data quality, and decision-making across the AMETEK International EMEA organisation.

Essential Job Functions:

• Own the end-to-end business validation of data migration from Navision to SAP S/4 across multiple countries
• Document current data structures, ownership, and usage within legacy ERP systems
• Define and validate data requirements and business rules in collaboration with S/4 functional teams (Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, etc.)
• Develop and maintain business-led data mapping logic (source to target), ensuring alignment with S/4 design standards
• Coordinate local SMEs to support data cleansing, validation, and sign-off activities
• Lead data validation activities (pre- and post-load), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity
• Establish and monitor data quality KPIs and migration metrics (e.g., completeness, error rates, reconciliation)
• Ensure clear data ownership and accountability across all entities
• Act as the primary business interface between local markets, functional teams, and the technical data migration team
• Facilitate data workshops and alignment sessions across countries and functions
• Work closely with the Programme Management Office (PMO) to track progress, risks, and dependencies
• Support alignment with other Business Process Leads (BPLs) to ensure consistency across regions
• Provide regular status updates, insights, and escalation of data risks/issues

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience working on ERP implementations or data migrations (ideally NAV → SAP or similar)
• Strong understanding of business processes (Finance, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, etc.)
• Proven ability to manage data from a business perspective (ownership, validation, governance)
• Experience working across multiple countries or complex international environments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to data quality and accuracy
• Familiarity with AI, automation, or advanced analytics tools
• Background in Finance or business operations

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting / Finance, or Information Systems is required.
• Prior ERP implementations, migrations or transformations experience
• Experience in global or regional roles (Europe exposure highly valuable)
