Job Title: BI Lead Developer/Architect

As the BI Lead Developer/Architect, you will drive the design, development, and continuous improvement of integrated data tools, including reporting, analytics and forecasting. Your focus in this role will be interpreting business requirements from the Management, Sales, and Finance teams and building them into a robust database model and actionable reporting. In this role, you will work with your team as the connecting fabric between business requirements and the business tools.
You build business value by helping to unlock the power of our sales tools and system functionality. Your primary role will be to support a SQL based data lake connected to various ERP, CRM, and other enterprise software platforms. You will work closely with your internal team to identify, understand, architect, and build functionality into this central database which serves as one of the business’s central guiding reporting tools.
What you will do:
- Define business and system requirements for digital product improvements; ensuring alignment with IT Architecture, Business Strategy, and leadership priorities
- Support the development of data tools (Azure Data Factory, SQL, etc.) and reporting mechanisms (Power BI, etc.) across key systems areas, including ERP & CRM
- Best-practice utilization
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering, business, computer science, or related fields
- 10+ years experience as SQL (T-SQL) developer
- Experience working in a global role with Sales, Marketing, or Process Management teams is strongly preferred
- Relationship builder with strong customer service orientation and outstanding interpersonal skills that can lead and empower a global diverse team
- Develop / Manage / Maintain existing Azure Based SQL data lake
- Exposure to building ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory
- Ensure the data quality and integrity in databases
- Develop best practices for database design and development activities
- Ability to support large databases and be well versed with Data Warehousing concepts
- Exposure to Maintain and support SQL databases in AZURE and be familiar with all Azure related management tools (database scaling, performance metrics, etc.)
- Working knowledge of common ERP and CRM systems and their architecture (such as Oracle, Navision, Salesforce, and SAP)
- Good working knowledge of PowerBI, ability to Develop, publish and schedule Power BI reports
- Good exposure to DAX language within PowerBI
