Job Summary

As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for growing the sales & market share of  Stationary and Mobile Arc/Spark OES Metal Analyzers in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana

 

Your role covers the entire sales process from Lead Generation through till Revenue recognition.

You will generate leads from various sources, engage with all stakeholders for technical / application discussions, commercial negotiations, payment collections and ensure successful execution of each order.

 

You will provide regular market intelligence inputs to help improvise the sales strategy.

 

You will collaborate with Service colleagues to create a world class customer experience

 

You will follow the company values, business ethics, compliance and adhere to process disciplines.

 

Required Skills

Technical:  You are a Solutions oriented person with enthusiasm to face technical challenges, to diagnose & solve problems and continuously improve customer satisfaction.

 

 

Commercial: You have business acumen related to pricing of capex projects, communicating value proposition, evaluation of ROI for customers, commercial terms & conditions.

 

You are committed to achieving and exceeding the order intake and sales revenue budgets each Quarter.

 

Communication: You are proactive in communicating with all customer stakeholders in the local languages and English. You also easily connect with internal colleagues in India and the SPECTRO factory team with a sense of urgency to present the actual scenario along with specific requirements requests to get their support.

 

You are extremely professional & courteous with your verbal and written communication. You have experience with basic email software, excel. If you have prior experience with a CRM such as SalesForce this will be an advantage

 

You are a self-motivated, extrovert techno commercial professional, with passion to travel widely, meet existing and new prospective customers, ability to work alone and proactively generate new leads, quickly react to inquiries received.

 

You are interested in continuous learning and self-development to improve your technical skills and keen to attend all the training programs you are nominated to attend.

 

Desired Skills

Multi-tasking & Negotiation skills. The role requires working outside of normal working hours to ensure quick response to customer requirements

 

Travel is mainly within the southern region (states Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana) but you may also require travelling anywhere across India as and when required.

 

Experience Level

 5 to 10 years

Educational Qualification

Bachelors / Masters in any Science / Engineering background

An MBA in Sales & Marketing will be an added advantage
