Position Summary:


Join our FAA-certified repair station specializing in the overhaul and repair of aviation safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, oxygen bottles, and related components. We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who is eager to learn and grow in a regulated industry. No prior aviation experience? No problem—we provide full training for candidates with the right attitude and work ethic.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Inspect, repair, and overhaul safety components such as fire suppression systems, fire extinguishers, oxygen masks, and cylinder/regulator assemblies.
  • Operate test equipment (pressure gauges) to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Perform welding and assembly tasks following detailed instructions and specifications.
  • Complete accurate documentation and maintain compliance with FAA regulations.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues using manuals and provided training.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and report any safety concerns.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Willingness to learn – We’ll train you on specialized processes and equipment.
  • Hands-on mindset – Comfortable working with tools and getting involved in technical tasks.
  • Attention to detail – Accuracy matters in a regulated industry.
  • Dependability – Ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines, work overtime and weekends as required by business needs.
  • Team player – Works well with others in a collaborative environment.
 
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
  • Experience with hand tools or mechanical work.
  • Familiarity with welding or assembly tasks.
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions.
  • Previous experience in regulated industries (manufacturing, automotive, aviation, aerospace, pharmaceutical) is a plus.

Employee Type:  Hourly
Salary Minimum:  $40,000
Salary Maximum:  $50,000
