Are you looking for an entrepreneurial organization where you can make a significant impact? We are in search of a professional Buyer II for our Baldwin Park, CA manufacturing facility.

Are you a good negotiator who enjoys negotiating prices and on materials?
Do you possess a high-level of energy and the motivation to cause things to happen and to deliver results?

We are a medium-sized team in need of an experienced Buyer II.  We are financially stable, and a division of a large global manufacturer traded on the S&P 500.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for purchasing & negotiating material, supplies & equipment from approved vendors.
  2. Responsible for rvaluates vendor quotes & services to determine most desirable suppliers.
  3. Follows up with vendors and suppliers with weekly open order reports
  4. Generate P.O’s and adjust delivery dates in accordance with MRP
  5. Travel to local suppliers to conduct supplier visits as required

 

Our Team:

Our team is located in Baldwin Park, CA.  You will be on the front line of our effort to provide top notch purchasing expertise to both internal and external customers. 

 

We need your expierience to include:

  • 2 years of Purchasing and or Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing environment. (Preferably Aerospace)
  • General understanding or MRP systems

You should know how to:

  1. Proven team player who has demonstrated capabilities in the following areas: excellent communication, interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, solid organizational skills, and the demonstrated ability to be self-directed and effectively relate to all levels of an organization.
  2. Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines.
  3. The right person will be ambitious and flexible who wants to learn and grow professionally.
  4. Strong computer skills are a must, to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Compensation

Salary Minimum:  $60,000
Salary Maximum:  $110,000
